Hey guys and gals and non-binary pals. I’m finally back after a two week hiatus and I am so sorry I’ve been gone this long. I was in Mexico for a wedding (which was an adventure and honestly one of the best and most fun experiences I’ve had in a long time) and totally planned on being back in the States prior to my normal posting schedule, but had some travel hiccups on the way home. (*cue sad/awkward trombones*)
Quick Recap on the last couple of weeks: on my way home from Puerto Vallarta, my plane ride from Puerto Vallarta was grounded for 4 hours due to the heavy fog in Mexico City (stop two in a long, long flight back to JAX), which caused me to miss my connecting flight from Mexico City into the United States. This was Sunday, the 10th of November. The earliest I could reschedule/book another flight was Tuesday the 12th. So needless to say, I got a couple of extra impromptu dates tacked on to the end of my vacation. I was exhausted and hadn’t had any blog posts planned for last week, so I made the executive decision to get back into a routine and take the week off of blogging.
All the stress of travelling caused me to completely forget that, yes, it’s so close to that time of year. Holiday time.
Now that I’m back into a somewhat normal routine post-Mexico, I am fully embracing my inner Buddy the Elf (“What’s your favorite color?”) and gearing up my arsenal of holiday-themed posts to hopefully help and inspire you for when you get stuck on what to gift those hard-to-shop-for friends and family members.
As a huge tech-fan myself, I always am looking new electronics to use, different games to add to my collection, or just any new interesting gadgets to tinker with. If you know anyone like that in your life, I’ve compiled a list of different products to gift to those who fall under the category of “tech-addict.”
1: For the photographers and aspiring filmmakers in your life.
For all of the friends or family members in your life with a knack for film or a stellar photographic eye, these gifts are great for those who are on the go as well as into keeping their equipment pocket-sized and in easy access.
2: For the gamer in your circle.
Now, I’m a sucker for a good, entertaining video game. Bonus points if you can take it with you on long car rides or flights (it *is* prime time for travelling, as we all know).
3: For the Music Lover.
Now, who doesn’t love listening to music? Below I’ve showcased some of my favorite speakers, headphones, and record players to hopefully help you share the gift of music with your peers in a variety of ways. I had to include the fun rainbow piano because playing music is as fun as listening to it.
I hope this helps kicking off your holiday shopping lists. Buying new tech pieces are never super cheap, but I wanted to get this out ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so keep an eye out for lower prices. I’m so glad to be back and keep checking back for more holiday content!
